Spring is getting sweet with new cookie options.
Edible cookie dough company Deux released its latest variety: Grandma’s oatmeal cookie. The new flavor, which is “grandma-approved,” features chocolate chips, a hearty texture and a subtle nuttiness. Grandma’s oatmeal cookie dough may be eaten raw or baked in the oven, and is vegan, dairy free and gluten-free.
The Keebler Co., a subsidiary of the Ferrero Group, has unveiled its latest cookie offering: oatmeal raisin Sandies. The new shortbread cookies feature oats and sweet raisins.
Miss Jones Baking Co. has launched its new jumbo bakery style double chocolate chip cookie ready-to-bake dough. Each package of this new cookie dough contains six cookies that measure five inches wide and are made with butter, brown sugar and “all the same ingredients you’d use to make them from scratch.”
Wisconsin-based Sartori Cheese added a sriracha cheddar and an Italian herb cheddar flavor to its portfolio.
“We’re excited to share sriracha cheddar and Italian herb cheddar with people all over the world,” said Bert Sartori, chief executive officer of Sartori. “Our master cheesemakers have worked hard to develop these two unique flavors, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience them in the way they enjoy most.”
Kellanova is adding a chocolate-peanut butter flavor to its Rice Krispies Treats portfolio.
“For years, fans nationwide have written in to us asking for this flavor, so we are thrilled to finally satisfy everyone's craving for Rice Krispies Treats chocolatey peanut butter,” said Juan Boido, senior brand manager at Kellanova. “We specialize in making ooey-gooey treats that infuse joy into the everyday and this new flavor is the perfect snack to delight the whole family, from the kids to the kids-at-heart. We can't wait to hear what our fans think.”
Flowers Foods Inc. introduced a variety of new products across its portfolios, including Nature’s Own. New to Nature’s Own are Keto Soft White Buns, which contain one net carb per serving; Perfectly Crafted Flatbreads, which are available in white and garlic flavors and are Non-GMO Project verified; and Small Loaves, which are 12-oz loaves of Nature’s Own bread for smaller households and are available in ancient grain and homestyle white.
“The breadth and scope of our newest launches are a testament to our continued focus on innovation and the growth of our leading brands,” said Mark Courtney, chief brand officer at Flowers Foods. “Our new products have been developed to meet the latest market trends and preferences, offering consumers more choice while driving additional value for our customers and our business.”
Ritz Crackers, a snack brand of Mondelez International, Inc., has unveiled its latest limited-edition snack offering: buttery-er crackers. The company described the crackers as being infused with extra buttery-er flavor while still capturing “the buttery flavor that fans know and love.”
“The Ritz brand has become synonymous with golden buttery flavor,” said Mayte Killeen, senior brand manager of Ritz. “With the new limited-edition buttery-er crackers we’re taking it to the next level for our buttery-flavor.”
