PHILADELPHIA — Aramark Refreshment Services L.L.C. has agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Van Houtte USA Holdings, Inc., also known as Filterfresh, from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. The transaction is valued at $145 million.

The Filterfresh business offers single-cup coffee service at offices nationwide.

In December 2010, Green Mountain acquired the Van Houtte business from LJVH Holdings, Inc. At the time of the acquisition, the company said it would pursue a sale of the Filterfresh business.

“Aramark and Filterfresh are both leaders in providing excellent service and quality office coffee and other refreshments to employees in the workplace,” said Jonathan Peters, Executive Vice President, Aramark Refreshment Services. “We look forward to satisfying even more customers through this new partnership.”
