Schor selected as senior v.p. for food safety

WASHINGTON — The International Food Information Council named Danielle Schor as senior vice-president, food safety. She spent 25 years with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and was chief of staff with the U.S.D.A.’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Ms. Schor also worked with the U.S.D.A.’s National Agricultural Library and the Women, Infants and Children Program at the Georgia State Department of Health. Besides working with the government, she has been a nutrition consultant and press coordinator for the Dairy Council of Greater Metropolitan, Washington.

Ms. Schor has a bachelor’s of science degree in dietetics from the University of Maryland. She is a registered dietitian.
