MEMPHIS, TENN. — Bob Moore will retire as president of AZO Inc. on March 31 after working for the company for 30 years, including 20 years as president. He is assisting in the transition of Jim Cavender, formerly executive vice-president, to chief operating officer.

"I will miss AZO Inc. a great deal, but it’s time for me to move to a new chapter in my life," Mr. Moore said. "I’m looking forward to a greater emphasis on my involvement with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and finding a new challenge in which to utilize my skills."

N. Hunt Moore, Bob Moore’s father, introduced AZO to the United States in 1972. A joint venture company, AZO Inc., was formed in 1978. The company now provides ingredient automation systems in North America to companies in the food, pharmaceutical, plastic and chemical industries.
