MAPLEWOOD, MICH. — Schroeder Milk, a subsidiary of Agropur, has acquired Farmland Dairies’ Grand Rapids, Mich., facility.

"This most recent acquisition is a leading manufacturer and marketer of on-trend UHT and aseptic dairy products," said Pierre Claprood, chief executive officer for Agropur, a dairy cooperative based in Longueuil, Que. "It represents a great fit with our current operations and will allow us to keep building a strong foundation for continued growth."

The facility will become part of Schroeder Milk’s operations. Bob Kirchoff, president of Maplewood-based Schroeder Milk, will oversee the business.
