Michel Cup to join Sara Lee as c.f.o. of CoffeeCo

DOWNERS GROVE, ILL. — Michel M.G. Cup has been named executive vice-president and chief financial officer of the International Beverage business of Sara Lee Corp. Additionally, he will serve as c.f.o. of “CoffeeCo” once it is spun off from Sara Lee Corp. in the first half of calendar 2012. Mr. Cup will start his new duties on Dec. 1, 2011.

Mr. Cup most recently was c.f.o. and a board member of Dutch-based Provimi, a leader in international animal nutrition. Previously, he was finance director of Decorative Paint Continental Europe for AkzoNobel n.v. Prior to AkzoNobel, he held multiple finance managerial positions with Royal Numico n.v., a leading baby food company, later sold to Danone. He began his business career with Deloitte Accountants in The Netherlands.
