Gary Lane named c.e.o. of Ottens Flavors

PHILADELPHIA — Gary Lane has been promoted to chief executive officer of Ottens Flavors, an international flavor supplier.

Mr. Lane succeeds Richard Robinson, who had been Ottens’ c.e.o. since 1996. Mr. Robinson will remain chairman of the board and an adviser to Mr. Lane.

Mr. Lane has more than 25 years of experience in the food, flavor and fragrance industries. Before his promotion, Mr. Lane was director of international operations and business development at the company.

Before joining Ottens, Mr. Lane was a business unit director at Kerry Group. Before that he held a variety of executive and management positions at Quest International, a supplier of flavors, fragrances and food ingredients. His positions at Quest included assignments in business development, global purchasing, supply chain, operations and finance.
