Kraft Foods introduces Fresh Take
Jan. 19, 2012
GLENVIEW, ILL. — Kraft Foods Inc. is launching Kraft Fresh Take, a blend of natural cheeses and seasoned breadcrumbs designed to create an entrée with five minutes of prep time.
The products may be used in various ways, such as filling burgers, meatballs and meatloafs, as a casserole topping or an ingredient in an appetizer such as stuffed mushrooms or artichoke dip.
“Most families rely on the same few dinner recipes week after week or they turn to takeout and drive-through restaurants to get a quick meal,” said Arthur Sevilla, brand manager for Kraft. “Kraft Fresh Take offers a flavor upgrade to your go-to recipes like chicken or tacos. With minimal prep time you could enjoy chili-lime and panko tilapia tacos at your next taco night.”
Fresh Take comes in six varieties — southwest three cheese, Italian parmesan, rosemary and roasted garlic, cheddar jack and bacon, chili lime and panko, and savory four cheese. The products are available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.99.
