K.S.U. wheat quality short course set for Sept. 18-20

MANHATTAN, KAS. — The Department of Grain Science and Industry at Kansas State University announced it will hold a three day wheat quality and flour milling short course Sept. 18-20 in Manhattan. The course, which has been offered for the past 18 years as part of K.S.U.’s extension program, is designed for agricultural extension agents and individuals in the milling, baking and allied industries. Among the topics to be discussed are wheat quality preservation, flour functionality and physical dough testing. Registration for the course, which is limited to 24, is $700 and includes short course handout materials, all breakfasts, lunches, breaks and one dinner.
