EAST ISLIP, N.Y. — Got Chocolates, Inc., a business unit of Gunther Grant, Inc., is introducing Betty Boop licensed confections. The company was recently awarded two year licensing rights to market confectionery products featuring the Betty Boop character.

“Betty Boop is a $2 billion per year ican that is timeless,” said Grant Newsteder, chief executive officer of Gunther Grant, Inc. “Unlike fads that come and go each month, Betty Boop has been popular since the 1930s and still going stronger than ever. Everyone knows a Boop fan. Even if you don’t like Betty Boop, people still know dozens that do. This is a great opportunity for our company to accelerate revenue generation and drive shareholder value.”

The line of confections initially will feature a chocolate bar, but the company said additional product formats are in development.
