Snyder’s of Hanover adds flavors to gluten-free pretzel lineup

HANOVER, PA. — Snyder’s of Hanover is now offering the two most popular flavors, honey mustard and onion and Hot Buffalo Wing, as gluten-free selections. The pretzel sticks are dairy, casein, and egg free and are available in 8-oz packages at a suggested retail price of $3.69.

Fiber One introduces fruit flavored snacks

MINNEAPOLIS — Fruit flavored snacks are now part of the fiber-filled food selection at Fiber One, a business unit of General Mills. With 3 grams of fiber per serving, the fruit snacks have 70 calories and offer 100% of the daily recommended value of vitamin C. The fruit snacks are available in assorted and mixed berry varieties. Fiber One Fruit Flavored Snacks are available in grocery stores nationwide in 10-pouch boxes at a suggested retail price of $2.99.

Post Foods announces new Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cereal

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cereal is being introduced as a new line of cereals packed with whole grains, protein and fiber. Honey Bunches of Oats is a business unit of Post Foods, L.L.C. The cereal comes in two varieties: cinnamon crunch and chocolate almond crunch.  Each cup-serving contains 35 grams of whole grains, 5 grams of fiber, and 10 grams of protein when consumed with a half cup of fat free milk. The Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy cereal is available nationwide.

Müller Yogurt introduces dark chocolate flavors

CHICAGO — Müller is now offering low-fat yogurt blended with dark chocolate shavings. The dark chocolate shavings are paired with either fruit or crunchy clusters in featured flavors, including dark chocolate and cherry, dark chocolate and raspberry, and dark chocolate and pecan granola. All yogurts are made with reduced-fat, Grade A milk. The new chocolate yogurts are available at a suggested retail price of $1.29.

Wendy’s unveils Mediterranean-inspired cheeseburger

DUBLIN, OHIO — Wendy’s is rolling out a new ciabatta bacon cheeseburger featuring Mediterranean-inspired ingredients like rosemary garlic aioli, roasted tomatoes, and spring mix greens, in addition to premium Applewood smoked bacon and aged Asiago cheese. The ingredients are sandwiched in between an artisan ciabatta bun. The limited time only ciabatta bacon cheeseburger is available for a suggested retail price of $4.79.

TCBY releases plant-based and dairy-free vanilla frozen yogurt

DENVER — As part of an agreement with Silk Almondmilk, TCBY is announcing its first vegan product, Silk Vanilla Almond Fro-Yo. The frozen yogurt variety is dairy free. Select stores will offer the previously released Silk chocolate almond flavor in addition to the new vanilla variety.

Stonyfield announces line of new Greek yogurt flavors

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Stonyfield is offering a new line of organic Greek yogurt featuring flavors including black cherry and café latte. The yogurt is made without the use of toxic pesticides, G.M.O.s, artificial hormones, and antibiotics. Stonyfield Greek is available nationwide in 5.3-oz single cups or 4-oz four packs.

Passage Foods rolls out Korean BBQ Beef Simmer Sauce

COLLINSVILLE, CONN. — Passage Foods is introducing an addition to its 2014 sauce line — Korean BBQ Beef Simmer Sauce. A mixture of smoky and sweet, the sauce is certified gluten-free by G.F.C.O. and made without preservatives. The Korean BBQ Beef Simmer Sauce is part of the 22 simmer sauces produced by Passage Foods.

Jelly Belly creates beer-flavored jelly bean

FAIRFIELD, CALIF. — Known for its flavor innovation, Jelly Belly Candy Co. is debuting draft beer jelly beans. The new jelly bean flavor is inspired by Hefeweizen ale. While the jelly bean is alcohol free, it provides notes of wheat and mild sweetness with a bready scent. Draft beer jelly beans are available in candy stores throughout the world.

Mott’s expands line of juice drinks with three new flavors

PLANO, TEXAS — Mott’s is introducing better-for-you juice varieties with the addition of Fruit Punch Rush, Wild Grape Surge, and Strawberry Boom flavor selections. The new juices are made without artificial sweeteners and contain 40% less sugar than fruit juices. All flavors deliver 100% of the daily recommended value of vitamin C. The juices are sold nationwide in 64-oz multi-serve containers. Additionally, Fruit Punch Rush and Wild Grape Surge are available in 8-oz six packs.
