LOUISVILLE, KY. – D.D. Williamson (DDW) has acquired the color product line from Danisco USA Inc., a business unit of DuPont Nutrition & Health. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquired line of colors includes carotenoid colorings and blends in the yellow to orange spectrum. Equipment and inventory from Danisco’s plant in Madison, Wis., will be transferred to DDW’s plant in Port Washington, Wis., according to DDW.

“This acquisition allows DDW to strengthen its existing offerings for customers around the world,” said Ted Nixon, chairman and chief executive officer. “The larger toolkit will improve DDW’s ability to develop unique color solutions for applications, one customer at-a-time, and will extend our manufacturing expertise in Wisconsin.”
