White Rock Beverage launches new organic fruit-based drink

WHITESTONE, N.Y. — The White Rock Beverage Company has launched a new fruit-based beverage, White Rock Organics, company officials announced Tuesday. Certified U.S. Department of Agriculture Organic by Quality Assurance International and with Orthodox Union Approval, the new beverage is brewed using natural fruit extracts and organic pure cane sugar.
"We are very excited about White Rock Organics, which was specifically formulated for our customers who seek all natural, organic foods and beverages," said Larry Bodkin, White Rock Beverage president. "White Rock has a long, proud history of offering wholesome, light and refreshing beverages, and our Organics line is a natural addition for us."
Naturally caffeine-free, Organics is a lightly carbonated beverage that is available in three flavors: Passion Orange, Raspberry Creme and Red Peach. Each 12-ounce bottle has 120 calories and is brewed using triple filtered water, natural flavors and organic pure cane sugar. No high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors or preservatives are used.
White Rock Organics is available in single serve 12-ounce bottles that are sold in 4-packs and 24 bottle cases. It is sold nationwide in natural foods stores at a suggested retail price of $4.99 per 4-pack.
The White Rock Organics launch is supported by an in store point of sale campaign highlighting the theme "Purity Awaits You."
The White Rock Beverage Company was founded in 1871. The company also bottles White Rock mixers, flavors and seltzers, Sioux City sodas and Olde Brooklyn sodas.
