Lansing named chief marketing officer of Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc.

EMERYVILLE, CALIF. — Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc., a specialty coffee roaster and marketer, has named Christine Lansing to chief marketing officer. Ms. Lansing brings more than 16 years of marketing and brand management experience with her to this newly established position.
Ms. Lansing started her brand management career at Procter & Gamble where she spent 13 years building brands in the company’s paper division, both in the United States and internationally. Most recently, she was vice-president of marketing, global innovation for The Hershey Co. where she was responsible for the global design, development and commercialization of new confectionery products.
Prior to that, she was vice-president marketing flagship brands at Hershey, where she was responsible for the company’s flagship Reese’s, Hershey’s, and Hershey’s Kisses brands.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and a master’s of business administration from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
