Worldwide Food Expo less than a month away

CHICAGO — An enhanced educational program, highlighted by six new Super Sessions featuring leading management, food research and business trend experts addressing such topics as building strong brands and business ethics, are on tap for the Worldwide Food Expo, set for Oct. 26-29 in Chicago.
The Worldwide Food Expo is a biennial global food and beverage technology event, sponsored by the American Meat Institute, the International Association of Food Industry Suppliers and the International Dairy Foods Association. More than 1,200 exhibitors covering 1.2 million square feet of floor space will take part in the show, which is the largest North American display of food industry suppliers in one location.
This year’s show will attract more than 30,000 participants and will feature more than 45 educational workshops, including tracks on food safety, marketing and other hot industry topics.
As part of this year’s Worldwide Food Expo, special food, dairy and meat technology sessions will highlight the latest innovations from the industry’s top suppliers. The 20-minute tech presentations will feature technical papers covering a variety of topics in the areas of processing and packaging, ingredients and formulation, and sanitation and food safety.
In addition, this year’s event will offer Spanish-language sessions geared toward educating international senior level managers about marketing to American suppliers.
