Dunkin' Donuts signs Aramark as official coffee service provider

CANTON, MASS. — Aramark Refreshment Services Inc. and Dunkin' Donuts have signed an agreement under which Dunkin’ Donuts has named Aramark as the office coffee service provider of Dunkin’ Donuts branded coffee to company break rooms where employers provide free coffee across the United States.
"Early tests show that Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in the break room makes employees feel more appreciated and satisfied, dramatically increasing their perception of the company as a great place to work," said Richard Wyckoff, president of Aramark Refreshment Services and Business & Industry — Facility Services. "We are proud to play a role in increasing the awareness of and exposure to the quality of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in the workplace."
Aramark will offer both Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend and Dunkin’ Decaf coffees, along with Dunkin’ Donuts branded cups and break room materials. In addition, Aramark will run special promotions to drive traffic into Dunkin’ Donuts locations.
"Dunkin’ Donuts has always sought ways to spark new interest in our products," said Will Kussell, chief operating officer for Dunkin’ Donuts. "We believe this agreement will help drive our brand in markets we are looking to develop further and introduce the brand to new customers. Aramark provides workplace refreshments to more than 100,000 client locations throughout North America.
Dunkin’ Donuts is the largest retailer of coffee by the cup in the United States, with more than 5,000 locations across 36 states.
The Dunkin’ Donuts offering will be widely available before the end of 2005.
