Keane, McGreevy, named to vice-presidential posts at A.B.A.

WASHINGTON — Kevin W. Keane, former assistant secretary of public affairs for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has joined the American Beverage Association as senior vice-president of communications.
"I am extremely pleased to welcome Kevin Keane to A.B.A.," said Susan Neely, chief executive officer and president of the A.B.A. "In addition to his broad knowledge and clear understanding of strategic communications, Kevin brings a wealth of experience on local, state and national policymaking and health issues to A.B.A."
As chief communications officer for the association, Mr. Keane will direct the A.B.A. strategic communications program, working with member companies and allied organizations.
James A. McGreevy III also has joined the A.B.A. as vice-president for state and local affairs for the association.
As vice-president of state and local affairs for the A.B.A., Mr. McGreevy will be responsible for representing the interests of A.B.A. members before state legislatures and regulatory bodies.
