RYE BROOK, N.Y. — Snapple has launched a new line of ready-to-drink white teas and a new campaign emphasizing the health benefits of white tea.
The new white tea products are available in nectarine, green apple and raspberry flavors and are packaged in 17.5-oz bottles for a suggested retail price of $1.39.
Holly Mensch, vice-president of Snapple, said the company hopes the launch of its white tea products will position the company well for success in the fast growing health and wellness category.
In its promotions, the company will focus on the new products’ healthful qualities, including that they are naturally decaffeinated and contain antioxidants. The new white teas are also made with real sugar, but contain 33% less sugar and fewer calories than regular Snapple teas.
