WaddaJuice expands line with sports drink for children

NEW YORK — WaddaJuice, the maker of healthy, child-friendly juice beverages, has introduced a new line of hydrating sports drinks called WaddaBlast.
WaddaBlast is low in sodium and does not include high-fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. It features "ElectroVites," a blend of vitamins and minerals intended to provide children with healthier hydration.
The product is 50% water and does not contain the high levels of sodium and minerals found in other sports drinks, said Jordan Kerner, founder of WaddaJuice.
WaddaBlast will be sold at retailers nationwide as well as schools in the New York tri-state area. The new beverage retails for $1.34 for a bottle in independent stores, $1 in schools, and $10.99 per 12-pack in grocery stores.
