Clyde Preslar steps down as Cott chief financial officer

TORONTO — Cott Corp. on Nov. 28 announced the departure of Clyde Preslar as chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1.
Mr. Preslar, who Cott said is leaving to pursue other interests, will be replaced on an interim basis by Tina Dell’Aquila. Ms. Dell’Aquila has been with Cott since 1998 and held the role of interim c.f.o. in 2005. She is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.
Commenting Nov. 28 on the change, Brent Willis, chief executive officer of Cott, described the company as "on track" with its plans both to boost sales and cut costs.
"Our perspective for the fourth quarter and full year remains unchanged, and I know that Tina’s interim leadership will provide continuity of the organization as we begin to implement the 2007 operating plans that our board of directors approved today."
Cott is the world’s largest supplier of retailer brand soft drinks and one of the largest non-alcoholic beverage companies in the world. The company markets more than 200 retailer and licensed brands, including Cott, RC, Vintage, Vess and So Clear.
