SAN ANTONIO — Sweet Success Enterprises, Inc. has reached an agreement with Kerry Sainte-Claire for the production of Sweet Success ChocKoala Immunity Jr., a functional beverage designed for children. Kerry Sainte-Claire, located in Quebec, is a unit of the multi-billion dollar corporation Kerry Group.
"Manufacturing some of our products in Canada, a trusted trade partner to the U.S under NAFTA, is a step in the right direction for the company," said Glenn Williamson, president of Sweet Success. "KSC’s impressive facilities and Kerry Group’s global reach were significant factors in deciding who we would work with in the early stages of establishing international operations."
This month the company will mass-produce ChocKoala Immunity Jr. in the 250mL Tetra Prisma packaging at KSC’s 122,000-square-foot facility. KSC has seven specially engineered production lines designed for Tetra Pak products. In addition to being 100% recyclable, Tetra Prisma packages allow for a 12-month shelf life keeping Sweet Success beverages safe, fresh and flavorful without refrigeration or preservatives.
"This agreement — in addition to the company’s current production of the 330mL beverages at Universal Food and Beverage in Savannah, Ga., significantly broadens the company’s production potential to include the smaller kid-friendly 250mL ChocKoala," Mr. Williamson said.
