Licensing agreement creates Entenmann's brand coffee

LAS VEGAS — A licensing agreement will allow Coffee Holding Co. Inc. to offer Entenmann’s brand coffee for the retail market. The high-end bagged coffee should appear on retail shelves within a few weeks, said Erik P. Hansen, corporate brand manager of San Francisco-based Coffee Holding Co. May 5 at the 2008 F.M.I. Show in Las Vegas.
The 12-oz Entenmann’s Ultimate Bagged Coffee will have a suggested retail price of about $7.49, Mr. Hansen said. The bagged coffee will come in the flavors of café blend, blend decaffeinated, blend dark roast, cinnamon crumb cake, hazelnut and vanilla bean.
The launch also will include Entenmann’s Canned Coffee. It will feature coffee shop blend in 11.5-oz and 34.5-oz cans and coffee shop blend decaffeinated in 11.5-oz cans.
The Entenmann’s brand, part of the George Weston Bakeries family based in Horsham, Pa., features more than 100 sweet baked foods ranging from crumb cakes, donuts and chocolate chip cookies to multigrain cereal bars. Coffee Holding Co., a wholesale coffee roaster and dealer, offers coffee products in the categories of specialty green, private label and branded.
