InterBev trade show acquired by NürnbergMesse

ATLANTA — NürnbergMesse North America, Inc. (N.M.N.A.) has acquired the InterBev trade show from the American Beverage Association. The N.M.N.A. is a U.S. subsidiary of Germany-based NürnbergMesse GmbH, one of the 20 largest trade show companies in the world with a portfolio covering 120 national and international exhibitions and congresses. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
The American Beverage Association said it would remain associated with InterBev through ongoing sponsorship and participation in future shows.
“We acquired InterBev from the American Beverage Association,” said Dirk Ebener, chief executive officer and director of the N.M.N.A. “They will support InterBev with their industry knowledge. A major partner with deep industry knowledge plus the trade show expertise of NürnbergMesse North America give this strategic development of InterBev great potential for success. For the 2012 show, we plan to add tea and mixed milk beverages to the product scope.”
The N.M.N.A. announced the next InterBev will be held in Las Vegas in October 2012. The trade show will feature the manufacturers and bottlers of refreshment drinks, juices, waters and energy drinks as well as beverage raw material, packaging, logistics and marketing suppliers.
