TORONTO — PepsiCo Canada is launching the Gatorade G Series line of products in Canada beginning March 21. Designed to help athletes improve their performance and introduced in the United States in 2010, G Series provides fuel, fluid and nutrients before, during and after activity, according to PepsiCo.
“The launch of G Series in Canada solidifies that the Gatorade brand is moving beyond a sports drink company to a sports nutrition innovator,” said Julie Raheja-Perera, senior director of marketing for PepsiCo Canada. “The G Series platform is an evolutionary step in the brand’s 40-year history of studying the best athletes in the world, and understanding that a competitive edge can mean precious milliseconds or millimeters that make all the difference in sport and training.”
