WOODBURY, N.Y. — AriZona Beverages USA L.L.C. has introduced CocoZona, a beverage made of 100% pure coconut water and the first on the market to come in a 100% recyclable and re-sealable aluminum bottle. The new beverage contains several electrolytes, including potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus, which AriZona said are all essential for rapid fluid absorption.

Additionally, CocoZona is fat-free and cholesterol-free, and it contains 70 calories per 14.5-oz serving. CocoZona is made from green Indonesian coconuts.

AriZona’s CocoZona offers a 24-month shelf life before opening and a 7-10 day shelf life if refrigerated after opening. The beverage has been available in the New York metro area since March and will continue national distribution throughout the year. The suggested retail price is $1.99 to $2.49 per 14.5-oz bottle.
