J & J Snack acquires Radar, Inc.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — J&J Snack Foods Corp. has acquired the assets of Radar, Inc., a manufacturer and seller of fig and fruit bars under the brand Daddy Ray’s.
"We are pleased to have this quality company added to our portfolio of brands," said Gerald B. Shreiber, president and chief executive officer of J & J. "Radar produces quality products efficiently and is a leading producer in its segment."
Radar has its headquarters and its manufacturing facility in Moscow Mills, Mo. The company has sales of approximately $23 million and sells to the retail grocery segment and to mass merchandisers, both branded and private label.
