BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — The Kellogg Co. has introduced Rice Krispies with Real Strawberries, a new cereal that combines the traditional Rice Krispies cereal with real dehydrated strawberries cut into child-friendly pieces.
"Moms have an affinity for Rice Krispies from when they were little girls — something they now want to share with their children," said Tamara Howe, brand manager for Rice Krispies. "Our research shows that those same girls — today’s moms — are demanding more real fruit in their children’s foods, while today’s kids want more taste."
The cereal is available nationwide at a suggested retail price of $3.69 for a 10.5-oz box.
