CARTERET, N.J. — Pathmark Stores, Inc. has started a new diet program for customers called Healthy Steps.
The program features tips from registered dietician Jaqueline Gomes and advice on how to incorporate national and regional brands into a healthy diet, said John Derderian, executive vice-president of business strategy and marketing.
Advice from Ms. Gomes will be available through local media, community outreach programs, Pathmark advertising vehicles, a bi-monthly newsletter and other in-store programs. Customers also will be able to contact Ms. Gomes directly via mail.
A permanent in-store location will accommodate a Healthy Steps end-cap highlighting relevant products and the bi-monthly newsletter.
