Severin to new post in charge of brands at Kroger

CINCINNATI — The Kroger Co. has named Linda Severin to the newly-created position of vice-president of corporate brands.

Ms. Severin, 43, most recently was vice-president of marketing for ConAgra Foods, Inc. Earlier, she held leadership positions at The Campbell Soup Co., Dean Foods, Sara Lee Corp. and Rand McNally.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s of business administration in marketing from the University of Michigan.
