Tasty Baking expands Tastykakes Sensables line with new flavors

PHILADELPHIA — Tasty Baking Co. has introduced three new flavors to its Tastykake Sensables product line: banana chocolate chip soft cookie bars, cream-filled koffee kake cupcakes and cream-filled vanilla cupcakes.
The new varieties are sugar free and contain 7 to 10 grams of net carbohydrates per serving.
"The response to the Tastykake Sensables line has been tremendous," said Jon Silvon, director of marketing. "There are a number of different reasons why consumers are looking to reduce their sugar intake, from weight management to diabetes, but one thing is the same across all those categories: no one wants to sacrifice the quality and taste of the foods they love. With our expanding line of Sensables products, Tastykake is delivering delicious options for health-conscious people."
Tasty Baking first introduced the Sensables product line in 2004 as a response to consumer demand for baked goods without the sugar and carbohydrate content of traditional snacks. In addition to the new varieties, Sensables are available in chocolate chip cookie bars, chocolate chocolate chip cookie bars, orange finger cakes and chocolate chip finger cakes.
