Barry Callebaut fills eight positions

CHICAGO — Cocoa and chocolate producer Barry Callebaut recently named eight individuals to positions in the company.
Bruce Smith was named to the new position of northeast regional sales manager of the gourmet division. Mr. Smith was previously a confectionery consultant, northeast territory sales manager for Cargill Foods/Wilbur Chocolate and a divisional northeast regional sales manager for Nestle/Peter’s Chocolate.
Greg Mohr was named regional sales manager of the gourmet division, covering the territories of Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. His experience includes work as a regional sales manager for Otis Spunkmeyer and a district sales manager for Frito-Lay.
Kristin Wood has been named regional sales manager for the Midwest and was previously regional sales manager for Archer Daniels Midland, national account manager for Sunrich Food Group and regional sales manger for The Perfect Puree of Napa Valley.
Paul Reed will be the company’s customer service director for North America. He will be responsible for new programs and tightening related policies, procedures and structure.
Greg Keyes was promoted to national key account manager from regional sales manager for the Midwest.
Vinod George was named trade marketing manager for the North American market and has experience as senior research analyst for Grubb & Ellis and as a marketing associate for Adidas.
Gary Dinstuhl was named confectionery specialist for the southeastern U.S. — another newly-created position. Mr. Dinstuhl has been with Barry Callebaut for more than four years as specialist for the northeast.
Geoff Grosz was named Midwest area sales manager and has experience as regional sales manager for Pillsbury’s bakery division and as vice-president of sales for the Midwest region for Rubbermaid.
