CP Kelco begins regional business units

ATLANTA — CP Kelco has formed three regional business units to help expand the company’s food, beverage, consumer products, industrial and oil field markets.
David Edgington, who was vice-president of global industrial products, is now vice-president and regional manager of Europe-Middle East-Africa. Hyung Hahn will remain in the role of president of Asia-Pacific for CP Kelco and J.M. Huber Corp. In addition, Martin Sapone, who was the director of global food sales, will become vice-president and regional manager for The Americas.
The regional business units will work with three global teams. To this end, there will be an integrated team working to develop and commercialize new products and applications, which will be led by Didier Viala, vice-president of marketing and innovations. Russ Jordan, vice-president of global operations, will head up global manufacturing, engineering and environmental and regulatory compliance. Jerry Coughlin, vice-president of supply chain and services, will emphasize purchasing, quality assurance, logistics and IT. Additionally, Akiva Gross will take over as technology adviser to the president.
