Land O'Lakes selects officers for 2007

ARDEN HILLS, MINN. — The board of directors of Land O’Lakes, Inc. recently elected new officers at the cooperative’s annual meeting.
Pete Kappelman, a dairy producer from Two Rivers, Wis., was reelected chairman. He joined the board in 1995 and was board secretary and first vice-chairman before being elected chairman in 2004.
Other individuals elected were: Ronnie Mohr, an agricultural producer from Greenfield, Ind., was reelected first vice-chairman; John Zonneveld Jr., an agricultural and dairy producer from Laton, Calif., was elected second vice-chair; Doug Reimer, managing partner of Deer Ridge S.E.W. Feeder Pig, L.L.C., in Guttenberg, Iowa, was reelected board secretary; Bob Marley, general manager of Jackson-Jennings Co-op in Seymour, Ind., was relected chairman of the board’s Ag Committee; Art Perdue, a manager of Farmers Union Oil Co. in Minot, N.D., was elected vice-chair of the Ag Committee; Cornell Kasbergen, a dairy producer from Tulare, Calif., was elected chair of the board’s Dairy Committee; and Lynn Boadwine, an agricultural and dairy producer from Baltic, S.D., was elected vice-chair of the Dairy Committee.
