McDonald's same-store sales rise 5.7% in February

OAK BROOK, ILL. — Same-store sales for McDonald’s restaurants worldwide increased 5.7% in February, compared with a 4.7% increase in the same month of last year. Worldwide sales rose 9.7%, or 6.8% in constant currencies.
U.S. same-store sales rose by 3.1%, and the growth is attributed to breakfast and late-night options along with the new grilled and honey-mustard snack wrap.
In Europe, same-store sales rose by 5.9%, and in Asia/Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, same-store sales grow by 12.3%. Sales in Japan and China attributed to this growth.
Global same-store sales are up 5.3% year-to-date, and total sales for restaurants around the world has grown by 9%.
