Noe v.p. of regulatory affairs for GMA/FPA

WASHINGTON — Paul Noe has been named vice-president of regulatory affairs for the Grocery Manufactures/Food Products Association.

Previously, Mr. Noe worked as a partner with C&M Capitollink LLC and has been legal counsel for Crowell & Moring’s environmental and natural resources group. His work focused on policy, legal, political and technical issues. He also worked with the Bush administration from 2001-2006 as counselor to administrator John Graham at the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget. In this position, he helped with interagency reviews of draft regulations and analyses from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of the Interior, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

In his new role with the GMA/FPA, Mr. Noe will advise and advocate legislation and regulation concerning environmental issues and consumer products and will manage the consumer products policy committee.
