NEW YORK — Palladium Equity Partners has made a minority investment in Sahale Snacks, a Seattle-based a producer of branded and private label snack foods. Sahale’s product lines includes six nut blends that combine nuts and fruit with ingredients inspired by regional cuisines, such as Moroccan Harissa and Chipotle.

"With Sahale Snacks’ superior product offerings and Palladium’s industry experience, we expect our collaboration to further enhance the company’s outstanding recent growth," said Luis Zaldivar, vice-president of Palladium Equity Partners.

This is the fifth investment for Palladium Fund III, which closed a year ago with $520 million of committed capital. Palladium also holds investments in Wise Foods, Inc., a salty snack company, and Taco Bueno Restaurants, a quick-service Mexican restaurant chain.

Sahale products are distributed nationwide and may be found at many Target and Costco stores.
