ERLANGER, KY. — Wild Flavors has expanded its offerings of flavor modification technologies with the introduction of SavorCrave.
The new technology works to add the sensation of umami in foods and drinks. It has a natural flavor labeling on finished products in most countries, is stable in heat for processing such as retorting or baking, and it is available in Kosher and halal versions.
SavorCrave also may be used in soups, side dishes, sauces, salad dressings, meats and marinades, snacks, seasonings and frozen entrees and pizza. It does not contain glutamic acid, blends with other dry ingredients and adds no characterizing flavor to the finished product.
