NORTHFIELD, ILL. — Jeri Finard, who was named executive vice-president and chief marketing officer of Kraft Foods Inc. last September when the company unveiled a new executive team, has decided to leave the company for personal reasons. She will remain with the company for a transition period through mid-May.
Ms. Finard had been responsible for leading the company’s new Consumer Innovation & Marketing Services department, which merges Kraft’s Global Category Development and Global Marketing Resources & Initiatives groups.
"Jeri has had a terrific career at Kraft, defined by her passion for building brands, her creative marketing ideas and her deep understanding of consumers," said Irene Rosenfeld, chairman and chief executive officer. "We thank Jeri for her many contributions, particularly in leading a number of our North American businesses, and most recently, for helping to set Kraft on a new path toward greater innovation."
