Web site makes consumer chocolate purchasing easy

BOSTON — A web site for chocolate consumers, www.chocolate.com, was launched in March and provides an opportunity to shop for and read articles about chocolate.
"This site allows small, specialty shops to present their confections to thousands of people every day," said Mark McInnis, chief executive officer of chocolate.com. "It allows the consumer to walk through dozens of chocolate shops at once."
Consumers may shop by category — price point, occasion and ingredients, and the site has more than 1,000 new products to choose from.
