NEW YORK — Tyson Foods, Inc. is launching a new marketing campaign called "Thank You," a campaign designed to recognize consumers as "mealtime heroes."
The $70 million advertising and promotion campaign will include television and radio advertising in addition to consumer promotions. The target audience will be general, but also will focus on the Hispanic and African-American markets.
The campaign will begin in early June and include advertisements promoting Tyson Trimmed and Ready fresh chicken. Advertisements for other products will come out later.
While the previous "Powered by Tyson" campaign will not be used in the company’s future product marketing, it will be used in other aspects of the business.
"We’re excited about the ‘Thank You’ campaign and how it supports our strategy of providing consumers with fresh and healthy mealtime solutions, which are either homemade with help, fast and flexible or ready now," said Dave Hogberg, senior vice-president for Fresh Meal Solutions.
