BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Acme Smoked Fish Crop. has acquired Great American Smoked Fish Co., Margate, Fla. The move is expected to help Acme expand in Florida and the Southeastern U.S. markets.
"We are thrilled to welcome Great American and its customers into the Acme family," said Eric Caslow, president of Acme Smoked Fish Corp. "Our companies share not only a mutual commitment to producing superior smoked fish products, but also a bedrock integrity and attention to detail in all aspects of our operations."
The senior management team and sales force of Great American will join the newly combined company.
"Acme provides a wonderful new home for Great American’s products and customer service," said Craig Markman, a founding partner of Great American Smoked Fish Co.
