CANTON, MASS — Dunkin’ Donuts introduced freshly brewed iced tea, which will be available either unsweetened or sweetened in three flavors: original, raspberry and peach.
"Dunkin’ Donuts is continuously introducing exciting menu items for customers to enjoy throughout the day, and we believe iced tea is a perfect addition to our line of cold beverages," said Robert Rodriguez, brand president. "As we continue our growth throughout the country, we are excited that Dunkin’ Donuts is now the place where busy people can keep themselves running with delicious, freshly brewed iced teas, made-to-order with innovated flavors that are fast, fresh and affordable."
The teas will be available in restaurants in New England and upstate Ney York. Suggested retail prices are $1.69 for a small, $1.89 for a medium and $2.09 for a large.
The introduction of the teas comes at the same time of the company’s expansion program. Dunkin’ Donuts is expanding in its existing markets and entering new cities in the Southern and Western United States, and the goal is to triple the number of franchise restaurants in the country to 15,000 by 2020. The company also recently launched new menu items, including a sausage supreme omelet, white hot chocolate, French toast twists and jumbo cookies.
