Hormel announces promotions

AUSTIN, MINN. — Hormel Foods Corp. has announced several management changes in its protein businesses.
The company promoted Gary Ray to president of the protein businesses. He formerly was executive vice-president of refrigerated products. He will be in charge of all protein segments, including refrigerated foods, which includes the Jennie-O Turkey Store and Farmer John brands.
Other promotions included Steven Binder, the company’s new group vice-president of refrigerated products. He will oversee meat products, food service, fresh pork, Saag’s and Dan’s Prize. Thomas Day will take over as senior vice-president of food service, managing all food service sales and marketing functions. Deanna Brady is the new vice-president of food service sales.
