MADISON, WIS. — Kraft Foods Inc. is introducing three varieties of Lunchables Jr. to provide snacking opportunities for young children ages 3 to 5.
The varieties are: Ritz snacks, raisins and peanut butter; Teddy Grahams, Kraft Mozzarella Strips and Strawberry Yogurt Flavored Dip; and Ritz Bits, Kraft Mozzarella Strips and Roasted Turkey. The first two varieties are a part of the Kraft Sensible Solution program, which is designed to help consumers identify "better-for-you" products.
"Moms today tell us they need nutritious snacks that her younger kids will want to eat," said Darin Dugan, senior director of marketing Lunchables. "With this in mind, we set out to create a new product that would make snack time both entertaining for kids and provide wholesome ingredients moms love."
The new products will be available nationwide in August and will come in twin packs. They will be found in the refrigerated meat case in the grocery store with a suggested retail price of $1.99.
