McDonald's c.f.o. to retire

OAK BROOK, ILL. — Matthew Paull, chief financial officer for McDonald’s Corporation, has announced his intentions to retire.
"Our system and our shareholders owe (Matthew) a huge debt of gratitude for his commitment and passion," said Jim Skinner, chief executive officer. "Matthew will be leaving McDonald’s on a business high, in position for continued success.
Mr. Paull was named c.f.o. in 2001, and he has agreed to stay at least until the end of the year. Mr. Skinner said an internal and external search for a new c.f.o. will be initiated.
