Sechi to head European operations at Campbell Soup

CAMDEN, N.J. — Campbell Soup Co. named John Sechi president, Europe. He succeeds Jacques Van den Wouwer, who has held the role on an interim basis for the past 12 months and who plans to resume his retirement.
Mr. Sechi, 50, will be responsible for Campbell’s portfolio of brands across the region and the creation of a long-term sustainable growth strategy for the company’s European business.
He has more than 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, most recently with Globalpraxis Group, a management consulting company. Earlier, he spent 16 years with The Coca-Cola Co., where he held various senior general management roles in Europe, including president and division manager of the company’s German and Central Mediterranean business units.
Campbell’s portfolio of brands in Europe includes Liebig and Royco in France, Devos Lemmens and Royco in Belgium, Erasco in Germany, Bla Band in Sweden and Finland, and Campbell branded products across the region.
