Charter Baking to introduce The Baker Organic line

BOULDER, COLO. — Charter Baking Co. announced it will launch a new line of organic, whole grain bread made without artificial ingredients, preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup.

The Baker Organic bread will hit store shelves in September and will be available in eight flavors: Green Tea and Goji Berry; Pomegranate and Blueberry; Yoga; 7 Grain and Fiber; 100% Whole Wheat; Spelt Ancient Grain; Seeded Rolls; and Mini Baguettes.

Some of the loaves have as much as 4 grams of fiber per serving and up to 23 grams of whole grains per serving, Charter Baking said.

Suggested retail price for the bread will range from $3.39 to $4.79.
