Elliott to v.p. of corporate strategy for Campbell

CAMDEN, N.J. — Campbell Soup Co. has named Kirk Elliott vice-president of corporate strategy. In his new position, Mr. Elliott will have responsibility for Campbell’s strategic planning process, work to advance major strategic initiatives and oversee the company’s licensing program.
Most recently, Mr. Elliott worked for Elliott Oriental Medicine — a company he founded in 2005. Previous to that, he spent eight years at Nabisco International, Inc. serving in various capacities in business development, planning and line management. He also has worked for RJR Nabisco, Burger King Corp. and Bunge Corp.
"Kirk is innovative, inspirational, and a results-oriented leader," said Carl Johnson, Campbell’s senior vice-president and chief strategy officer. "His blend of entrepreneurial, strategic and line management experience will make Kirk an asset to Campbell, and his considerable expertise will complement our strong strategic planning capabilities."
