EAST HANOVER, N.J. — Kraft Foods Inc. introduced Nabisco Garden Harvest Toasted Chips. The triangular-shaped, crispy chips have 60% less fat than regular fried potato chips and are baked with 100% whole grain. In addition, the chips contain real pieces of fruits or vegetables, providing a half serving of fruits or vegetables in each 1-oz serving.
The new chips are available in four varieties: tomato basil, vegetable medley, apple cinnamon and banana.
The products qualify for Kraft’s Sensible Solution program and are available in 6-oz, recloseable bags at a suggested retail price of $2.99.
