Wrigley names new group v.p. for Western Europe

CHICAGO — The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. has named Albert Manzone as group vice-president and managing director for Western Europe.
Mr. Manzone comes to the company from PepsiCo where he most recently was senior vice-president and general manger of PepsiCo Shelf Stable Juices North America.
Previously, he held other executive positions at PepsiCo.
"Albert’s world-class business savvy and leadership are important assets to Wrigley as the company continues to maximize its strengths in Europe and builds on our successes there," said Peter Hempstead, senior vice-president of worldwide strategy and new business. "He’s a great fit for our strategic focus in the region and will help accelerate our growth as a premier global confectionery company."
